Brandenn
Bremmer, fourteen in the photo above, began playing the piano at the age of three. His
formal training started at four. Playing the piano by ear has been an easy
task for Brandenn. He also began and finished pre-school,
kindergarten and first grade curriculum during his three-year-old year. He
exhibited qualities as a baby that should have led his parents to believe there
was something unique about him.
Brandenn began competing with his classical music when he was four. He won state competitions many times over. His love for stage and audience makes performing a pleasure for this young man. The media took an interest in Brandenn at that time and he has appeared on many news shows and morning talk shows, including requests from Leeza (photo below), Oprah and Jay Leno.
Brandenn was home schooled. At six he began
taking high school classes from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln distance
learning. At age ten he became the youngest graduate ever from the 75-year-old
program. As you can see from the photo he had difficulty seeing over the podium
during his speech at his graduation.
Brandenn auditioned for the music program at Colorado State University becoming the youngest enrolled student at the age of ten. After several semesters he took some time away from his studies at CSU to work on his composing skills.
"Water" became the first piano piece composed by Brandenn. The response from his demo was remarkable. At a Yanni concert in Omaha, Nebraska he was able to pass an autographed copy of his demo "Water" to Yanni. Yanni in turn gave Brandenn one of his latest CD’s, autographed with a wish of luck and encouragement for his accomplishment.
That encouragement led Brandenn to create the remaining pieces on his CD in less than one month, and his second CD several months later. His second CD Dimensions was released just after his death and both are available on this page.
